Background on The Guardsmen
We are a San Francisco-based philanthropy group founded in 1947. We are 150 professional men volunteering our time and energy, with occupations ranging from police officer to doctor to business executive. Our philanthropy is focused exclusively on disadvantaged Bay Area youth. We are accredited by the IRS as an IRC 501(c)(3) public charity; Tax ID #94-1196194.
