The Albert Schwabacher Jr. Memorial Athletic Campership

In honor of the late Al Schwabacher, one of the founding members of The Guardsmen, an annual athletic scholarship was created in 1992. Al was a tireless supporter of both young people and athletics. In that memory, this funding is used to send two children to sports camp each summer.

These camps are directed by some of the finest college coaches in the country and staffed by other coaches and outstanding college athletes. These athletes share their enthusiasm, friendliness, maturity, and character and their positive example as a role model is as important as their teaching ability.

Peter Ivy Lee III, Memorial Fund

During the Christmas Season, after school, Peter helped the Guardsmen at the Tree Lot and in the spring, he sold hundreds of tickets for the Spring Fund Drive.
